Folk on the Stairs

This is the third song from my recent Folk on the Stairs session with Jim Chorley; ‘Making Waves’.

My good friend and musician, Andy Stone, has always enjoyed this song. ‘Making Waves‘ is always slightly changing; I rather enjoyed playing this fingerstyle version on the Lowden guitar for Folk On The Stairs.

Folk on the Stairs

Here’s the second song from my recent session for Folk on the Stairs. My political song…’Ballad Of An Ordinary Man’, on the Collings OM2: a particularly nice handmade guitar from Austin, Texas.

The lyrics ‘…It’s a ballad of an ordinary man, bound to do the best that he can…’.

Thanks again to Jim Chorley and Lorna Jones for making me feel so welcomed.

A musical experience that singer songwriters will enjoy participating in. Jim Chorley is a top musician and top bloke, who invites you into his lovely home in Hampshire and then films us singing on his stairs. Folk on the Stairs @Folkonthestairs Love it!

I sang 3 songs, the first is ‘Waiting in the Wings‘ on the Lowden.
