#KeepMusicLive

One pub in Dorset has done a great job at bringing live music performances throughout the week.

Thomas Tripp in Christchurch have a great stage, an enthusiastic audience, good location, long term reputation and promote their musicians.

Happy days! I will be performing my acoustic singer songwriter set  at Thomas Tripp again on Thursday 29th December at 8.30ish. Not Christmas and Not New Years, however, it will be lots of fun!!!

Long tradition of live music

There have been many changes in the last few years affecting the amount of live music venues in UK. One music venue that has stayed true to offering regular live music is The Boot Inn Weymouth.

Love Live Music

Performing there again on Sunday 27 March – Easter Weekend; always good fun…come rain or shine!!

It is important for people to go and check out what local talent there is in their towns: down at the grassroots level.

BBC newsbeat quoted regarding UK’s small music venues “The British music industry is worth £3.8bn. All that money starts from when somebody takes their first step onto a grassroots venue stage.”
